There are three programs floating around this week that I watched and would/will watch again and recommend:

Herbie Hancock Possibilities - Hancock collaborating with a number of artists (Annie Lennox, Sting, John Meyer, Joss Stone, Angelique Kidjo and the list goes on), and talking about making music. On TMC (I think) and showing again next week.

PBS Great Performances - Peter and the Wolf; a behind-the-scenes look at a project to animate Peter and the Wolf.

UCTV - UC Davis M.I.N.D Institute Distinguished Lecturer Series -2006-2007 Series, Temple Grandin, PhD, presenter. Google her and the the M.I.N.D Institute, then if you have any interest look for these 2 lectures.

We now return you to Gene Simmons Family Jewels, Make Me a Supermodel, Hell's Kitchen, Project Runway, American Idol, Top Chef, and Wheel of Fortune.

It would be great to have dear littleblue tell us of ABC shows from Ausdtralia we should watch.
I download their radio shows every day to listen to

Number one on my list would be Enough Rope with Andrew Denton. . .the man knows how to make someone so comfortable with his interview technique that they bare their soul. He is one of the wittiest men alive and has an amazing research team (something so many "talk-show- hosts" lack or chose to ignore).

After that for a laugh I'd suggest the "We Can Be Hero's" Mockumentary (though I cried when one of the characters died) along with "Summer Heights High" both by Chris Lilley.

And if you want Political satire. . . "The Chasers War on Everything" or "CNNNN" also by the Chaser team.

One of my all time favorites, that cycles back from time to time is a series called Ethics in America.  It was produced by Columbia University in the 80s and is a series of panel discussions about ethics.  It is very good.
