Our friend who has been the hospital for three months goes home on Monday. Yesterday and today (and tomorow) we cleaned and reorganized the apartment. We bought new dishes and microwave and new furniture is en route. Tomorrow we rig new lights in the kitchen and polish the floors. Can you say tired?

I think changing the Army's everyday uniform to a beret and camo was a fashion gaffe.

Warren Buffet is innerested in revitalizing the passenger railroad system. I'm thinking I want a train job.

A train job would be very cool! I understand there is fierce competition for jobs with Amtrak, and once people hire on, they stay for life.

i've thought for a long time part of the answer to a lot of our problems was to reactivate and build up our railroads: you're helping with global warming, lots and lots of jobs, economic ld travel....
