Once the suspect charged with Dr. Tiller's murder is brought to court, they need to be subsequently charged with hate crimes as well. Committing a crime, especially that of murder, inspired by dogmatic ideology that preaches hate against certain groups is, by all reasonable definition, a hate crime. Tiller's killer is a Christian Fascist that needs to have the book of secular law thrown at him.

I agree, and I think this should be considered an act of terror as well. If terrorism is defined as:

The unlawful use or threatened use of force or violence by a person or group against people or property with the intent of intimidation or coercion often for ideological or political reasons...

then his crime seems to fit the bill. Imagine how much better our country would be if evangelical Christian had the same stigma attached to it that Islamic fundamentalist does.
