I know a lot of people with snake bites. I think they, along with most other piercings and tattoos as well, are becoming a lot more of a norm and less of a taboo in mainstream society today. I guess it just depends on how professional of a job you want to have.
It's strange how it's against the law to refuse a person a job based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or disability but they can refuse one a job because of their personal choice of body modification.
With that said, I'd say go for it if you want it!

Heh... I recently got my lip pierced (again).
And shortly after I applied for a job at Bed, Bath & Beyond.
I would've had the job within the hour I had applied,
but they would've made me take all my piercings that were deemed "unacceptable" out.
Which would've been my lip ring and my tongue ring. (MY TONGUE RING?)
Honestly, who would see that, some yuppie bastard trying to crawl down my throat?
I didn't take the job.
They asked me why and I just told them I thought it was a stupid rule.
and it is.
Yeah. This kind of blatant intolerance in the work place needs to be stopped. I'm probably going to just use retainers if I get snakebites
Sweet.
You gotta make sure that that is "socially acceptable" too.
Bed, Bath & Beyond says NO to any facial piercings, clear retainers or not.
assholes.
