Yeah, I was mostly bringing up the question as a joke...but dating someone who's a hardcore asshole about anything is difficult...especially when they oppose you....

Hence, they're hardcore Yankees fans - I have to say overall that's it's fun to bust balls with them and since what happened with the Red Sox winning the series and now this season the Yankees have been sucking losers in the basement - I have had alot of satisfaction and no longer feel like shit amongst smug winning Yankee fans like I did prior to last season.

All this being said, I probably couldn't date someone who likes them for very long - any other team would be ok.

I have a friend that is such a diehard Red Sox fan, he's quit jobs, punched someone in the mouth, and broken up with a girlfriend because she was a Yankees fan. He REALLY hates them.

So I guess my answer to your question is: nah, fuck that Yankee loving loser - he's probably a consevative Republican douchebag deep down inside, and one day it'll get under your skin.
