Dunno.  I've had it 10 or so years and it wasn't new when I got it.

Probably my wedding band which is 11+ years old.

Probably my great grandad's wedding ring that I had made into a right hand ring.. it's 83 years old.. oldest thing I've purchased, probably my purse.. it's 2 1/2 yrs. old..

What if you aren't carrying change.  I rarely go out with my purse and when I do, it doesn't often have money in it.  I'd have to say the oldest things would be the diamonds on my wedding band, because they are from my grandmother's anniversary band.

I wouldn't have thought of money. I rarely spend the coins I get, so they probably are pretty old instead of all being the newly minted ones.
