The greatest part of my heart and mind agree with what Mr. Pilger has spoken of in these two videos. I can see that the information spin doctors have been feeding the media all they can choke down, and I think I've seen this for years. Mr. Pilger made an excellent point about noting who is being quoted as a source, and you will find whose interests are being pushed forward. I realize that Mr. Pilger is speaking to a Socialist group, and I also see that he is against what he sees as Israel's relenting push against Palestinians and, essentially, all comers. In this I must say that I disagree, because Israel is alone and surrounded by enemies on all sides. If they have a Masada complex, it is to be understood. At this moment, I have no other word but Mr. Pilger's that Hamas has made a ten-year commitment to a ceasefire, and that they have finally decided in their minds that Israel as a nation is a fact not to be denied. If this is true, it is undeniably good news. Unfortunately, the main vehicle (I won't say only, but the most readily available and easily accessible) for the majority of Americans to discover the truth is the "corporate journalism", as Mr. Pilger puts it. Therefore, it is doubtful if we will easily discover the truth at all. Perhaps now that we are supplied with clues, we may dig with more success.

Pardon me, I meant to say: "...Israel's unrelenting push..."  It's too early in the morning for me to be discussing world affairs, apparently.
