10+ lies

concerning the process of voting for a top...

...is what you make it and what you don't make it depending upon the ingredients you have in your personal kitchen.

I know, I know... I just use up space with fluff and meaningless content. But it is just like the real world and it keeps me out of trouble.

Foiled again... I was about to comment on the low number of votes required for "Top Blog" but after taking a look at CallmeRoger's hilarious entry I'll have to wait for a typical lame entry. Maybe tomorrow!

Below is my response to THIS

here do I start with my reaction?

Well, first I must say I agree with you. As I have explored around many corners, yes the "selfish community" is prevalent. Most of my activity has been exploration and experimentation in testing to what, and how mindsay users react to different things. The overall results have not been flattering to either bloggers or humans.

From a sociological perspective most people are followers. I believe they come here looking for a secure niche, find it, and stay there defending it. There are a small number of truly interested people who I see visiting everywhere. They are usually helpful, sincere and non-confrontational.

The most amusing group are the obsessive-compulsive whom delight in having a thousand people on their friend list and even more blog entries (which are typically trite).

There was an occasion many months back of great celebration over having had a voice-chat-get-together. All the participants were similarly gleeful in having finally heard the voices behind the blogs of their great, dear friends. This spectacle made transparent to me how weak the sincere human connection so commonly expressed is.

Without a doubt the wisest and most productive bloggers are those who take the time to research the tools available to them and make the most of the technology. I have made note of your presense long ago. People like yourself and CallMeRodger are very savy users with an educated understanding of blogging as a social and business tool.

Finally, my overall impression of mindsay it that it is a mess. It is a convoluted mishmash of mostly mindless rambling and randomness. Top blog election is impossible in this atmosphere.

Re: Blog and it's ways
I like your response. I also left one of my own.

I have a feeling that if momentum picks up, and people start responding to it, what we'll see is an overwhelming amount of negativity.

People who feel they are "under fire" about their shitty blogs.

Hopefully though...
And Im praying....

They might get a genuine, thought out reply from everyone.

Here's to hoping.

Nive job, again, on that reply..
Just wanted to throw that out there too.
