Eight a.m., and Mumsie is just about to go to work. I've been up since two, or whatever, just watching movies and playing cards with Justin and Tiep. We saw School For Scoundrels, The Da Vinci Code, and Turistas. I loved School For Scoundrels, mainly because I like Jon Heder. I especially loooved him in Napoleon Dynamite. I don't have one of those celebrity crushes on him, I just like him. The Da Vinci Code was pretty good, even though I missed out on most of it and haven't even read the book yet. Oh, but I am reading Angels and Demons right now. Haven't finished yet because it's huge and a little boring. But I love it so far. As soon as I finish Angels and Demons, I'm going to read The Da Vinci Code. Hopefully. (Angels and Demons is the prequel to The Da Vinci Code.) Dan Brown is brilliant, though. And the last movie was Turistas. And frankly.. I think it sucked. Waste of time.
Anyway, I'm waiting for Dad to take Mom to work so that we can go to Sam's Club and Walmart. I need to buy a few things. :( We're out of food at home, I starved all day. I had a little packet of spicy noodles and that's it. On the upside, I think I'm getting skinnier from all this starving. LOL. Yay for me, though.
Loc should be coming home either today or tomorrow. Who knows. I called her number the other day and someone picked up, it wasn't her, though. I asked if I could speak to her and her friend just hung up. The person that picked up is her roommate. She's like, this biker chick. Or at least she looks like one. Anyway, then Tiep called back, and she picked up, but as soon as she did, she hung up. I don't know what her problem is.. But Loc shouldn't be lending her cellphone to her friend. Who knows what she does with it. No wonder why Loc's phone bill is up to $700. Oh well. It isn't really my problem, but Loc is my sister and I don't want her getting herself into this type of trouble. She can't exactly pay this bill. To top it off, she also has a credit card bill that is about one or two thousand.
On another note: I don't know why I never blogged about this or told you guys, but Maya has heartworm. (Remember Maya? She's my new dog. A Siberian Husky mixed with German Shepherd. She's beautiful!) So, Tuong took her to get that treated and now all is well, except for one thing: Maya can't run or play for a month, straight. The medication that they put into Maya to get rid of heartworm takes awhile, but in the meantime, if Maya runs around or anything like that, the heartworms will travel to her lungs and she wouldn't be able to breathe. Thus, she dies. And I don't want that happening, but I want her to have fun, too. She might be a little depressed because she's hurting right now. They had to shave off two patches on her back to insert this medication. As for Lexi (my other puppy, the Yorkshire Terrier), Tuong also got her checked out for heartworm, but she tested negative. Thank god, too. I don't think Lexi would be able to handle it. I'm grateful that Lexi is okay, but I'm hoping for Maya to turn out fine too...
Tiep is really annoying me lately. It's like he always thinks he's right, or something. And even when he isn't, he won't admit it. He's being stupid. 'Nuff said. Same with Tuong. But she's just plain stubborn and has this massive attitude problem.
And I don't know what Mom's problem is these days. She just called me stupid and yelled at me for calling the dogs back into the house. They were barking, I have a headache, I couldn't stand it. She's like all other Asian moms. They expect us to know everything that they do. It's so tiring because she's yelling day and night. It's like she can never be happy with us. But, you know, I love her and all. She's my Mom. And Dad... Gosh. Right now Dad is having problems with his back, and he's going to see the doctor after he drops Mom off at work. I hope he's okay. I'm sure he will be, but I would like him in perfect condition and perfect health.
Well, I think I covered every family member. I don't know why, but it just seems like I can't get along with any of them. Well, except for Dad. I'm a total Daddy's girl, heheh.
So, since my Dad has decided to go to the doctor, I get to sleep in. He'll call home whenever he's on his way back from the doctor's and Tiep, Tuong, and I will get ready to go. Time for my beauty sleep!
