I really wish Bonnie, Chaps, Israel, and Cathian would have a permanent site where we could observe their daily conversations about the byzantine labyrinth of their inerrant scripture and dogma. I'm serious. Their grave inquiries into the latest machinations of Satan, the latest possession by demons, visitations by angels and ghosts, God's communications via dreams and coincidence, raising people from the dead, speaking in tongues, their heartfelt weeping at the thought of their Lord's sacrifice (never mind that he popped up good as new three days later), the justice of God's condemning everyone of the billions of human beings to suffering and death for the disobedience of two fairytale characaters who followed the advice of a talking snake, and not least their complete and total blindness to their smugness, arrogance, condescension, judgmentalism, superiority, false piety, sanctimony, and more. Really, if they would put up such I site I would visit it several times a day. It would be like being allowed to observe the witches in Macbeth.

I forgot to mention Featherdawn. She, too, needs to be a part of the Christian colloquy on the topics I mentioned above; and, yes, their strange interpretations and inferences and rites are indeed like Pagan and Wiccan ceremony, even to the point of human sacrifice to God and the simulated cannibalism of the communion sacrament.

By contrast how clean and good it feels simply to embrace nonviolence, kindness, and the golden rule and to state a rational defense of them!
