It's been a long time since I last posted, I wonder if anyone noticed I was gone.
It seems once you leave some thing you are soon forgotten as people carry on with their daily lives.
For instance, I used to be an avid trail rider and belonged to a large group. We would ride our horses, camp out, eat together and in general have a wonderful time. But then I got ran over by a horse and spent some time in a hospital and  due to fear stopped riding. Without the common "horse theme" my horse friends and I quickly drifted apart and no longer kept contact. Same goes with the biking club I belonged to for years. I thought those people and I were the closest of friends but when I quit riding with the group I no longer heard from them.
There are only a few people who have stayed beside me no matter what was going on in my life...these are my true friends. The rest are just a few pages in the story of me.I imagine when I die it will be a same. Most will forget me with the exception of these few friends.
And I know I'm just as guilty of forgetting people...it is just an observation.
