I had a most wonderful Thanksgiving dinner at Stacy and Mireya's. Stacy planned and cooked a real feast. I only came in on the day of and helped get one of the dishes done. I felt better by helping clean afterwards. That made me feel more useful and I was happy. I will be posting pictures of the feast as I get them from Stacy.
As we were setting the table and placing the dishes on the table. I kept thinking how wonderful it would be to share such a celebration with Kolya
quddus . However, he's all tucked away in an opposite corner of the world.
During the celebration, a couple of the young ones offered to serve me and I was delighted at this demonstration of kindness and consideration. I was feeling really grateful right then to be able to be a part of their lives and share in their development as humans on this planet.
I had originally thought my Thanksgiving would be spend on the couch with a bowl of popcorn and some movies. I was really happy though that Mireya invited me to spend it with her family.
