Christmas in June! *Excited* What do you mean no? Try and stop me!

So, i was talking to a friend. Who used to work in a school for special needs. A kid said one day "Yay, it's christmas" It was june and one of the teachers was like "Its not Christmas". How mean? i would have been all like "Yay, Christmas. Let's go and plan a party". He said "The teachers would have totally been like "no sif"". I had a thought. Christmas is not about Jesus anymore, it's materialistic, it's about presents and money. I mean how many people actually go to church throughout the year. A lot more go on christmas because they feel they have to but not many actually give a damn about Jesus. i don't mean to be rude or anything and i hope nobody will be offended by this. If it's not about Jesus then why can't we have christmas in June? Is it because the retail giants wont know, is it because they can't increase the prices and then pretend to bring them down? i need to call Santa and ask him to work in June for that kid. He deserves Christmas in June, we all do. Unless you have a birthday in June, then it should be in another month. Who says we have to have Christmas at the same time? A teacher of mine is athiest. i think thats what he is. He doesn't celebrate Christmas, he doesnt even have a tv for some reason but i dont know what that has to do with not being religious. Anyway, he buys his kids presents aftre christmas in the sales. He just doesn't believe in celebrating something that he doesnt believe in. A lot of people do it though. Why make your children outcasts in society because you don't happen to believe there is a god? What if they do? What if you get scared when you are about to die and pray to god, you believe he is real? It just takes something that strong to make you believe? you haven't celebrated his birth for years and all of a sudden you expect him to let you into heaven? What if your children choose one day to believe? i guess thats the same as baptising your child when they are born, they dont have a choice. But i guess we'll have to change the name because you can have "christ" mas. How about Nina- mas? Lets celebrate me being me. Yeah thats a good idea. Now, I'm being selfish. For now it'll be christmas until i can find a better name.
