Yesterday's anniversary is today. The trick is to do something in celebration.

Lately, for me, celebrating today's gifts- the images, the marks of time, the little forgotten paraphenalia of living- keeps me jazzed and enthralled with it all.

If I didn't have my artistic expression I don't know what I'd do. I don't know who'd I'd be or where I'd be.

I'm extremely grateful.

The cat purring on my head
Discovering an unknown flower blooming in the yard
The "gift bags" my neighbor's leave on the porch, filled with fruit, vegetables, seeds, or starts
Waking up to young roosters practicing (You just can't help but laugh)
Coffee on a sunny Sunday morning *raises cup*
