We just got finished watching Bowling for Columbine, the Michael Moore documentary. It was disturbing, funny, smart, sad, deep and thought-provoking.Go Marilyn Manson! If you are a fan of thinking, if you are a fan of guns, if you're not a fan of guns, if you hate Michael Moore or want to have his love-child, or if you have a pulse, get off your butt, go to the library, put your name on a list to check out Bowling for Columbine. Many weeks from now, when you get it from the library, watch it, forget that I told you about it, and like a chain letter, recommend it back to me and to as many people as you can. I will be keeping track. I have my ways.

Bowling for Columbine-Yippy! I went to see this movie when it came out in the theaters, the first time i was so sloshed I didn't remember much but what I did remember I loved...I saw it two more times-sober-and loved it! I've had people say they loved it too and others say it was not enough like a real documentary because so much of it was Moores opinions...either way I thought it was marvy! -Carol

Re:
Thanks for the turtle compliment.I was on the fence with Michael Moore myself. I still am on a personal level. But his work gave me words for what I see as problems and solutions regarding America and the media. I am slightly removed, not being in almost any of the scenarios that were exampled in Bowling for Columbine, from the violence and reasons for violence that were sighted. However, I feel the negative pressure that the media, but more specifically, the news and the government need to funnel down our throats in order to make us more pliable. That wasn't a point of view from the movie, but my own. Don't let this opinion stop you from seeing the show. Now I've gone and written a diatribe. Sorry and thanks again!

We are at times but soft clay in the sculpter's hands. I will see this movie and I enjoy diatribes. Perception is enhanced with them. Diatribes are the Miracle Grow of the vernacular spirit... In my opinion...
