There's been a lot of hubbub about writing a better blog. There's a ton of stuff out here that proves it needs to be said.I can see the points of certain writers, that they are writing for themselves and their friends, but I am flabergasted that they or their friends would want to read:
2dy j n k sxd nfnt of me i wuz sooo pist n stuff there so not cool. they nevr wer.orI'm bored... my life sucks.
Some of those same people who say they are writing for themselves and their friends are complaining that no one ever writes replies. If peoples' responses are what you want, then write in a way that makes it easier to understand. It's also been said before, and I'll say it again here, keep in mind that the colors you choose for your words and backgrounds, the fonts and their size play a big part in a readability.I'll be frank, if I can't read the headline, or if your words are too dificult to understand, I'll beat it our of your little edge of the internet, faster than a man in the feminine hygiene section of Target.

Great points! > I'll be frank, if I can't read the headlineGrrr I hate how the headlines are so wide-spaced... I find it very difficult to read!

Re:
lol- i love your analogy, how true!I'd agree with the general disappointment in English grammar with most blogs... and the fact that some people don't take eyesight into account when "designing" their blogs. I saw one blog that its entries were in a Frame (scroll bars) but it had 4 pt font. argh!A general thought for anyone writing in the above mentioned gripes, remember- if airing out your thoughts to the general public, it's best to convey them in as clear and concise a manner possible. if you want to be cryptic or misty, then write a poem And last- how often do you think Life reads your blog? If Life sucks, then I doubt it will change just because you think it does. It takes quite a bit of motivation to change your life, but takes little actual effort to do so, unless, of course, you're working against economic factors. but if you don't like staying home on fridays or saturdays, or you're tired of being single/with the same person, make a change! feel better, Just "do it."Again, the above is not directed at Purple/Nomad but the blog community in general who will never read this reply And thank God for that. If everyone was interesting, there'd be no distinction between interesting and boring.

I could get out there with the best of them and complain about how my life sucks sometimes too. The trick is to paint the mundane from your own point of view. Take the uninteresting and talk about it in interesting ways. Chances are, you may even buy into your illusion yourself, and your life will start to look a whole lot better.

That is soooo funny... when I read that first line, I thought that it was in a different language, and I was about to ask you why you would mind if someone wrote in something other than English. Then I re-read the sentence and realized that it was supposed to be English and started laughing!

Testing This Header

Thanks!I feel as though all the really good points are taken by other people's blogs... ha ha. I'm not really that petty. Well, not *that* much.I wonder if there is a way to alter headings. Let me test here, if you don't mind...See above subject heading: I'm not sure if this will work because I think we can't use html there, but it's worth a try right?
