We use them, here.  But it's weird to watch a room get gradually brighter.

Re: bulbs, I've been slowing making the switch in our apartment since we moved in two years ago. I'm making the final push this past month.

I like the compact florescent bulbs... they last forever a long time.

Good idea.  Yeah, we just switched over.  If anyone is interested, I would suggest the 100 watts because the 60's don't throw off much light.

I got them for all my table lamps when I moved into my new place last year - I love em.

I'm going to try it when all our furniture gets back into the newly painted rooms.
