Update, update, update... train of consciousness. Choo-choo-choo... Not thinking about what I'm writing and just writing:

I'm visiting my sister today. I'm going to try some of her older clothes and see if they fit me. This is perfect timing because all of the clothes I'm currently wearing fall off, need to be pulled up, get cinched at the waist so much that I look the a hillbilly. Which isn't to say I'm not a hillbilly, cuz it could be argued I am/was/will forever be, but it's not an attractive look having the fabric bunch around the waste in gathers and pockets. Since Foreverknight has great taste and I need clothes that fit, this is awesome for me.

Huzband and I are going to a birthday dinner tonight for an ex-co-worker of mine. She's generously invited us to join her at a schmancy-fancy bistro. I'm looking forward to seeing x-c-w, and to getting a nice meal courtesy of someone else.

Our Marine bro is coming back to us. We'll be seeing him soon. He left California on Monday. (Does anyone else type "Mondsay" now?!?!) He'll be back in time for us to celebrate Mother's Day- which, I know!, was Sunday but we postponed it due to weather. We were going to celebrate at a State Park with kites and a picnic but weather was a little too chilly.

I got to go. Just adding the links... and I'm outta here.

Re: Hi-Bye
Now that's why I always wanted a sister...it sounds convenient to have one with a tastefully furnished closet!

Have a good celebration with your family.

If you ever want to adopt a Canadian Uncle I wouldn't mind being part of your creative family.

*smile* I always like your stream of consciousness posts.

I am endeavoring NOT to fit into my sister's clothes.  She is bigger than me, and I am bigger than I have ever been. (not to mention the fact that my sister wears dockers and polo shirts (ugh) and in colors that I abhor (pastels) Double ugh.

My stream of consciousness is running something like this today

"God I feel so fucking sluggish, what the hell? Maybe I'll make an espresso
*sometime later*
This espresso tastes like shit. What was I thinking?  But dammit, I'm gonna drink it anyway, cuz I am such a slug today.

Oh wow, hey look! There's six male Black-hooded Grosbeaks at the bird feeder! That's so cool! *big smile* and it's so green out there.  I love how the rain drops tick the leaves as they fall... gosh, I could sit here all day, watching the rain and admiring all the shades and textures of green.
*parks ass in recliner*
Oh hey, wait a minute.  This is hardly conducive to getting anything done.  But.....
Just what exactly needs to be done? Can it not all be put off til tomorrow, when perhaps I'll feel more like doing something?
Damn this rut."

But, Dear Nomad, I feel better now.  Typing at you worked better than the espresso!
