2 Tbsp butter2 Tbsp chili sauce2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce2 Tsp ground mustard1/8 Tsp cayenne pepper5 large chicken breasts1 cup chicken brothsaltground pepperHeat the butter, chili sauce, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and cayenne pepper in a sauce pan. Add the chicken (pre cooked and sliced), turning them in the sauce so they are all coated, and cook, stirrin goften, for 4-5 minutes.Add the chicken broth and salt and pepper to taste, and simmer 3 minutes. After cooking this, for presentation and to balance the spicyness, I lay the chicken on a mound of fluffy jumbalaya (using the remaining chicken broth to cook the rice.)*"Deviled" here means a spicy sauce with mustard and cayenne.

Re:
This sounds a lot more complicate than my tried but true dinner recipe1)Open pizza box2)Place pizza on oven rack3)Cook 4)Serve on flattened pizza boxIt's flawless, and when I'm feeling extra special I will spice it up by shaking some red hot sauce on it. It's too bad everything in life isn't that easy

Sounds yummy! I'm coming over now! Seriously, I wish I shared your enthusiasm for cooking... I could stand to be a bit more creative in the kitchen!

Huzband and I do the frozen pizza thang, too.And it is too bad that life and all the stuff in it can't be that easy. I suppose, like a good meal, what you put in comes out in spades. (How about that for mixed metaphors?!)

It's not politically correct nor girl-pow'rish, but I find some comfort in domesticity... still, I can't argue that if it wasn't for woman's liberation, I wouldn't be choosing to do these things, I would be required to do these things, and therefore I'm sure there would be no pleasure.I think it all comes down to making things... using my hands to change the oil, plant a bulb, paint a picture, mix some meatloaf or pick up a kid.To your: "I could stand to be a bit more creative in the kitchen!" I say then do it. It's easy! Start with thing you like, and start expanding on them. Like Mac & Cheese? Use a different noodle, or cheese. Like something at a restaurant, try it at home, for noone but yourself. If you don't like cooking, then no worries... it's highly unlikely that anyone will starve because you don't want to cook. Perhaps you have a husband that enjoys it or is trying it (like mine is attempting) and you can sit back literally eat the fruits of his labor!
