This week, TheRacket gave me some words, much like any other week, with which to create something. Unlike some other weeks, this one had me stuck for awhile. I'm fairly pleased with the end result, which you can see below.

If you're wondering what I'm talking about, go here and read up on our Creativity Exchange and see past exchanges. If you want to see TheRacket's half, go here.

Let us know what you think, and as always, if you're interested in doing this yourself, it's not formal or anything, just start one up with a friend. If you want our help in finding someone to do the exchange with, let us know. It's pretty cool.

Now, onto my half of this week's exchange. Words by TheRacket:

[slingshot]

he & she

are the two
rigid tines
of a Y fork

joined
one to the other
by a loose
band of plastic
promises

drawn tauter by Time
with each day
they pass

unfulfilled

Okay.  Forced to say it:  you two have a greeting card line going on.

Also forced to wonder:  what had you stuck?  You ended up with a ggreat ggraphic.

As long as it's not a schmaltzy greeting card and more like Scary Fairy's line, then I'm cool with the label. he he

Someone once suggested we do a calendar. I think it might be fun to throw a calendar together and share it with my fellow fellows.

And thank you kindly. What had me stuck were the wonderful concepts and words- they weren't as obvious as some words require of illustrations. I had even settled on a whole 'nother concept but when I sat down to draw it, I got this... and couldn't be happier. It isn't as tense as I wanted it to be- but it's slightly more than adequate, settling comfortably into appropriate.
