I'm so behind. Illustration Friday's, Moody Monday's, Creativity Exchane... I'm plunking away here, breaking a sweat, trying to stay true to some sort of artistic integrity by not letting myself do less than my best. Which is a joke because I seem to invoke this OCD-side of me at the most inopportune times.

I thought I would show you guys some of the steps I take to create some of my images. This one is for Illustration Fridays. Last Friday's theme was "Angels and Devils".
Step one- Sketch it out and tighten the idea. I used a pen, then a marker, then some whiteout. Next I scanned it in and cropped off the excess paper.
Step two- Once I scanned it in, I transferred the image to my laptop then fiddled with the layout to where I wanted it to be. Cleaned it up some more...
Step three- color it in and save it. (I'm sorry I don't have the in-between steps. I forget to save it when I'm in the heat of creating.)
