It would surprise me if Camino was having trouble with it. That's the risk you take with open-source software sometimes. Even though I was a Camino die-hard for about 6 months, the new version of Safari has been running quite well for me. That's what I been a-postin' with, gee wizz, a'hem, for sure.
Not everyone is having the same success as you are with Safari. See here.Still, you're right, I think. That's the chance I take.
i used safari 1.2 until about two weeks ago when i discovered what has since showed itself to be the best browser available for a mac OSX: mozilla firefox. you may be familiar with mozilla, a browser that seems to run well enough on linux, but was a bit crampy on macs. firefox is awesome, though. tabbed windows (like safari), but infinitely faster and more reliable.ta-da! yay, opensource software!
Kudos on voting! You know, I get rather annoyed at folks who gripe at the political machinations of our charming leaders yet won't take part in efforts to change things. "It's all a sham anyway," I hear a lot. "Why should I participate?"Apathy. I am a Mac OS X user myself and use the IE browser for most things. I tried Mozilla and it only served to annoy me. I'd like to try Safari, but I'm not at 10.2 yet. Only 10.1.5 or something. I need an upgrade.Or maybe it's just my cortex that requires an upgrade?
