A cup of hot Chai, freshly showered, lazing about in my thick, red Victoria Secrets' robe.Reading a humorous transcript of a press confrence detailing the documentation "proving" Prez. Dubya's service in '72 & '73.Once I'm done here, I will straighten my place. It seems to me that by doing so, I am repairing parts of my soul.It sounds so un-PC, but cleaning or having a clean house means I must have my shit together. I identify with it, perhaps too much. Maybe I was brainwashed by my mother and she from her mother... or perhaps I'm falling for the nefarious product-driven hype: the insistance I need to use the Swiffer Wet Jet to be happy.Or maybe I just like having things where they belong. Having clean clothes to pick from and a fresh smelling bed to climb into...

I would've like to have seen that. *sigh* but alas it's either computer or tv or sleep for me any given night. (But DAMN, I love that show!)

I saw a clip of this on The Daily Show. This reminds me of a certain classic deodorant commercial. I'm pretty sure this McClellan fellow wasn't raising his hand often."Half the evil, twice the fun.">>jake.rad

Re:
Another reason you feel good after cleaning and bathing is because of Good Fengshui. When things are cleaned and organized the chi*Good energy* becomes able to flow properly. Chaos breeds bad Chi*bad energy also known as Sha* and so it affects the persons living in it. Feng shui is related to the very sensible notion that living with rather than against nature benefits both humans and our environment. It is also related to the equally sensible notion that our lives are deeply affected by our physical and emotional environs.Of course this is all in theory and superstitions passed through generations. -Rebekah
