3 Years Today

Though Huzband and I have been together, as in commited to each other, in love and inseperable since 2000, we tied the proverbial knot in 2002, three years ago, today, to be exact.

Per our usual habit, (we never seem to celebrate any event on the actual date something is supposed to have occured, ie. Christmas, birthdays, anniversaries, Halloween...) we scheduled our "anniversary night" for later this month.

That doesn't stop the thoughtfulness that is Huzband. No~oo! He ordered flowers and had them delievered to me at work. Very sweet, yes, according to the plan, no. Now I am a jarbled bundle of gooey-love and bristley-ness. I had thought about getting him a little something but turned it down because we were going to wait. Now I wish I had done it anyway. I think he knows how I feel because I said, upon receiving the beautiful roses, "Duuuude, we were supposed to wait... until the end of the month."

His response, "Yeah, we'll do something then too, but this is for now."

That man- ugh- I love him so much- and he infuriates me too.

I do (really-really) like the flowers.
