I hate it when that happens

Here we go- shorter version-

Don Piper was on his way home from a religious conference when he was involved in a major traffic accident. He was pronounced dead at the scene and left in his car, badly mangled. Medics treated everyone else involved and while all this was going on Don Piper died and went to heaven.

A friend of his from the confereence, Dick Onerecker, had left the conference and was behind the accident, while waiting for traffic to pass he felt the Lord urge him to pray for thsoe involved in the accident. Without knowing who he was praying for Dick Onerecker prayed for his friend. After he prayed he started singing- and Don Piper joined in....

After Dick Onerecker convinced medics to at least take a look Don Piper, Don Piper was transported to several hospitals- each time medics were told there was nothing they could do for this man. Don Piper ended up at a hosptial where an experimetnal device (the Ilizarov fixator) was being used expermentally.

This book chronicles Don Piper's trip to heaven, his return to earth and his eventual 'recovery'.

Lots of things stood out for me while reading this...some smiliartites, some startling truths... it really is a good book.

Hmm   I know  a man in my town who claims to have been through the tunnel as they call it too.
