Have you had a couple of nice days?


I hadn't had a chance to tell you but I tried some weird camera techniques the other night that were inspired by your painting. I put two of them in the blog I made for Nad at the old site. I took my digital camera to where there were Christmas lights and made flowing motions with the shutter open to see what light images i would get.

They came out like hybrid fireworks, northern lights and Australian Aboriginal song line paintings. Because they are so vibrant in colour they look like stained glass windows.

I can't wait to see your pictures.

We've had the best vacation ever! Working, eating (!), sleeping, reading, watching movies... just being together as a family. I might have to go to therapy for my cookie addiction- not to Betty Ford but to Betty Crocker instead!

Mike and I are working on something every day but we're not pushing it. I am the luckiest person on earth! One of projects involves art! I post when we're done (in about a month).

I have had a rough time but a potential great time.

I don't know what has happened with my work friendship with janine and when I get a handle on it will describe it. Actually I can describe alot of it but wont now because I justed poured that out to Sweetbriarpoet and your writing is filling me with fresh hope. Sweetbriarpoet ( paige and i occasionally are each others sounding board on those kind of issues.

However someone i met years ago went for coffee with me the other day and we are very much in tune artistically, issue wise etc. She (sharon) left town for a year or so and came back thinking i had left too. We used to talk about books when we met at library or my work. I had no idea she liked art and photography too. When she returns to town in two weeks we are going on a photography / hiking/ meditation date. She had never known anyone but herself who took pictures and then tried to use them as a source of spiritual strength.

The other nice thing about a friendship with Sharon if it can develop is she is close to my age though she (ha) thinks she is too old. I told her if someone is too old to be my child it makes me feel better.

If we do it right we only live once flashy is a good thing... and may you and yours be blessed beyond all expectations with health, prosperity and one another.
