
Next time say, "Hola, commo estas?" (Hi, how are you). And say "bueanas dias" I think that's similar to have a good day. Bueanas noches for evening/ night.
Does she do tutoring? I want to brush up on my Spanish before going to Spain/ Madrid.
It's okay, I'm not really that interested in learning Spanish and she speaks English well enough for us to communicate effectively.
I only said that because sometimes people might get a kick if you try and greet them in their language.
