Dogs are fun, but it's sad cuz we have two dogs, chihuahuas, and my mom and sis don't really play with em much.  Though my mom does have the two with her whenever she's in the house.  Too bad they weren't trained to accept new people easily >.<

My friends mom has a Chihuahua, and it took him forever to get used to me. They are sweet, one owner dogs, that's why I don't want one, because it will probably get attached to my mom.

From what I've learned, you can train a chi so that they don't bark at every new person around them.  But I can't remember where I saw that from >.< lol

If your serious I urge people to adopt, I looked up your state and several Basset Hounds were listed. Petfinder.com is just one of several different sites, if you adopt your potentially saving a life.  Post a pic if you do get one.
