Most people are of the type that needs something to happen to them before they'll learn anything; and then some of those people won't even learn what they should have, doomed to repeat it later again.
O.o I think I'm a lil bit of both, yups.

If I make a grand mistake, I definitely learn from it, you just have to remember not to let it cripple you emotionally
Nic: You pegged it! The older I get, the wiser I get, which translates into "Nobody really knows nothin'." however, one slim slivver of truth has raised its pointy little head above the piles of useless knowledge...and that is, Love---hope--all those homilies we heard from the bards, are the gold standard of the Universe as far as I am concerned. And, oh, yeah, a sense of humor doesn't hurt. Hold onto your dreams, love a neighbor if you can, and if you can't, fu.k it!
Forgive yourself first, then others, and move on...----wait a second, I need my soap box to continue. Damn, I must have left it at yesterday's old Stuntman's Holliday Party. Enjoyed your blog-thoughts...best ever, Nic...
and bear hugs from
Gary the Gar/Bear.
Thanks Gary... I truly appreciate that.... how was the holiday party? Anyone come crashing through plate glass windows, or ride in on a motorcycle and drive into a Christmas tree with actual lit candles then run around on fire... *sighs*... I can name a couple of people I wouldn't have minded seeing that happen to at my employers holiday party... (this being said in humor) Isn't that previous thought like an old axe commercial?
nonetheless... I value what you say, for I learned a long time ago that sage advice is a precious commodity...
I have also learned this lesson. No of us really know nothing but what we learn from our own experiences. When you realize that life becomes simple. I believe that everything that we learned we wondered about setting forth the experience of knowing. I have said it before life is the teacher and we sit at the feet of our life and learn from it. Have a Merry Christmas
