Tradationally the Celts started their day and night cycles at sun down. So I am doing this early because we will be celebrating this evening!

This is the dark night.

This is the night of turning from darkness.
This is the night of turning toward light.
This is the night of wonder.

this is the time we remember Finn Mac(can't remember how to spell his name:O) and his band of warriors. Warriors made their way home for winter. To prepare for Spring and Summer months. We also give honor to Lugh and all the Gods and Goddesses, the Ancestors, the Spirits.
Take the time and tell a Warrior thank you, honor your family and friends who are warriors and bless them and ask for protection to all of our warriors away from home!
This year is the first year that every single warrior in my family will be with their respected immediate families since the start of this war. My brother being the veteran warrior of the bunch and my 2nd cousin being only 2 years in to his enlistment. My brother is out of the military and my cousin is home for the first time in 2 years. And I recently found out all my other extended cousins in the military if not home are on base and not overseas this year. I and my family are very thankful that the Warriors of our family are safe on this Solstice!
