We got to spar for the first time in Ju Jitsu last night. Our sensi is a hoot.......he is an older hispanic gentleman and was very leary about letting us spare against each other but really had no choice to let us.......the highschoolers we could go up against were all higher degree belts and all the kids that were younger are with lower degree belts were younger then puberty! As we entered the fighting circle with our gear on......Sensi goes: "I am not held responsible for any martial problems that may come out of this fight. Do you understand me?" Said with a twinkle in his eyes and a big ol smirk on his face.
We ended up suprising not only Sensi but the assistant Sensi and the rest of the older kids.......not to mention the parents that stay and watch....Randy and I went full blown out and hammered each other! Thank Gods we took our glassess off! We would have both came home with broken glasses on top of bruses and sore muscles! Now I understand why some marriage counselors hand their clients foam bats and say beat the hell out of each other! It is so much fun beating on your spouse! (not in the hurt or kill way of course........i don't approve domestic violence!)
Our kids were hilliours when we were sparing.........yelling from the sidelines......."Hit Dad harder mom!" "Dad you can kick mom harder then that!" And everyone was laughing and going oooooooooo good kick......ooooo that punch had to hurt!
Sensi even had a couple other parent couples sign up last night after they saw me and Randy spar! He is going to end up having to take over the full YMCA gym if he keeps getting more adults joining! He has a half of gym full of kids with me and Randy. They finally figured out that it is okay for adults to join and not just kids!
On the note of 9/11.........I didn't watch the news, I didn't read the news, I didn't want to hear fuck about 9/11. And ya know what........I had a great day yesterday.........even with all my finaincal stress waiting for the refund check to show up to pay rent this week! It was bad that it happened, it was sad for all the ppl.......but truthful............I am soooooooo fucking tired of hearing about 9/11. I am not un American nor am I unemotional.....but the media, the gov't and the wacked out ppl don't seem to get it through their heads that we dont' need to constantly hear about something to know that it happened in our history.
There that is my blurp on 9/11. Don't like it to fucking bad. Get over it.
