I plan on it.  My mom was going to try and get tickets while they are down in OK so I'll have to see if one of my friends in the city can watch the kids for us.  Then I told my aunty and uncle about it last night while we were out in the fields bothering the men for rides  (Keep your mind out of the gutters anyone else who reads this!) and she plans on trying to get some tickets also.  I also told my cousin Brian, he radioed his wife and then she called my cousin Tammy and they all are going to try and get tickets also.  CRAZY FAMILY OF MINE!

 

And if they allow camaras you can bet your butt I am taking pictures!

I know they are a bunch of kill joys sometime!  Here I was bragging about going to the Temptations and having a hot date with my hubby come Dec and now I am giong to end up sharing the night with the majority of the family........keep your fingers crossed that they all deciede NOT to go or that the tickets are sold out!

 

I don't think people who have NEVER meet my family realize how rowdy and ranchy they can get even in a nice elegant setting!  My dad's side of the family is jsut as bad but at least have some decorum!  I think it is because the majority my dad's side was raised Baptist!  My mom's side come from NA Indian tribal Mission Catholic church with strong Irish/French/Dutch ties, and then the majority of her brothers and nephews and their families went to American Lutheran and Methodiest!  Bunch of no good partieres that try to act classy and stuck up when they aren't having a good time!  Poor Randy got the full taste of my mom's family at a funeral no less!

At least maybe thier tickets will be on a different night and/or way different seating area.

My family can also get pretty rowdy at get-togethers but the only time it happened at a funeral was a fluke. One of my sister's husband died and, at the viewing, an older sister and she were standing around talking with some others and, the older sister's panties fell down around her ankles! They were all laughing and hooting and drawing stares to see the widow laughing at her own husband funeral!.  

LOL well so far the parental units decieded they aren't going because they still might have to go out to the custody hearing for my brother and recently sent him some money to buy food because the Military NOT Family Court is making him sign the majority of his check after he pays all the bills over to soon to be ex skank in law.  He is paying all his bills, providing for his boy, and thanks to the military and NOT the courts he has no money to eat off of between checks!  Now on the other hand Auntie and Uncle got tickets and it sounds like they are a few rows up from us.  I dont' know about my cousins yet.  And no chance for any of them going a different night because they are only in town one night.

  And trust me it wasn't an accidetn at a funeral.  My mom's family kept the majority of the Irish tradations.........3 days wake only in the funeral home and a get down dirty share stories reception after the burial.  To the point they even went out and bought near beer and fake wine for us pregos!

That's what I want....a wake where ppl share stories about me and (hopefully) remember the good times. I don't want a lot of boo-hoo'ing and tears.
