Lol Randy sounds like a smart guy. I personally have had Fords and was very fortunate that I got good ones but I understand how frustrating being stranded is. Been there, done that. But not in my Ford Escorts. Traded an '89 in on a '99 and drove it for five and ahalf years before my oldest daughter wrecked it.
I never use to have a big preference in vechiles. My family has usually driven chevies, maybe a buick or two, and an occasional rice burner. I stayed away from fords because usualy they were ugly looking in my opinon. The only ones I didn't mind were the mustangs and broncos
Randy's mom is a die hard ford driver and tried getting after Randy for allowing me to buy a chevy. She got her ass handed to her for a few different things over that one. She wisely keeps her mouth shut over our vechiles now.

I swear every time Randy drives one of our vechiles with in a month they go down on us. I think they know who the better driver is
uhhh...maybe tis the operator, not the machinery that 's the problem? lol I had the same kind of problem with my ex. I could drive a car forever with only regular upkeep needed, even if it had a problem, but let him in it and POW! another one bites the dust!
