Ford stands for fucked over rebuilt dodge and driver returns on foot.  I should know.  Been married to my husband for 8 years, together for 9 years.  How many freaking times do we have to hoof it after one of HIS fords breaks down before he gets it through his thick freaking head that FORDS ARE CRAP!

We had a good day yesterday, for the most part.  I took the kids to Sherk The Third, bought them hiking tennies and then went out to the Ford truck.  It wouldn't start.  At the mall, in late afternoon, and it wouldn't start.  Randy replaced the starter down in Texas.  And wouldn't you know it, the dayum starter is acting up again.  I called Randy down in southern NE.  Crawl under the truck and tap the starter that worked for him once.  Nothing.  Called him back.  Have someone give you a jump that worked for me once.  Tried that didn't work.  So we hoofed it to my cousin's house.  Thankfully she was done with school that day (teacher). And she drove me over to Randy's work so I could pick up the lil Nissan truck.  So today when Randy gets home we have to go back to the mall and get his truck started and then go get a starter and put it in..........again.

Randy has always driven fords.  Always had problems with them.  Till he bought himself a lil Nissan truck.  That thing is a 1995 and still runs really well!  Only have given it tune ups, oil changes, and washes:D  He started driving fords again after he married me and we have had nothing but problems with them.  I have driven nothing but chevies or rice burners.  I bought a Ford Bronco II before Randy and I got married.  It burned oil but otherwise I had no problems with it.  Until Randy started driving the dayum thing and he blew it up.  We bought me a cheap car, a ford,  he blew that dayum thing up with in 3 months.  That is when I bought my chevy van.

Sure the van gave me lil problems but nothing major.  I got rid of it because I hate vans and for the fact it is a digital peice of crap and didn't want to deal with the electrical, digital, and chip problems that come with newer vechiles after so many years.  A friend of mine gave us two chevy vans when they got their inhertanice money from selling their farm land.  A 1992 Astro and a 1995 Lumina.  They both have minor problems.  The Astro just needs a tune up and the lights fixed.  The Lumina needs to have the doors fixed (electrical panal is fucked on both driver and passenger side) and a tune up.  Otherwise they both drive great and have great gas miliage.  They are vans so I am not to happy with them but otherwise we have back up vechiles.

Now all of a sudden the 1997 power diesel ford is giving us problems AGAIN!  When we had a 1995 1/4 ton ford truck that everytime I turned around Randy was having to replace something on.  After hoofing it about a mile and half to my cousin's yesterday with the kids, I informed Randy that when we buy him a new truck he will NOT be purchasing a Fucked Over Rebuilt Dodge EVER AGAIN!  He wisely kept his mouth shut.

Lol Randy sounds like a smart guy. I personally have had Fords and was very fortunate that I got good ones but I understand how frustrating being stranded is. Been there, done that. But not in my Ford Escorts. Traded an '89 in on a '99 and drove it for five and ahalf years before my oldest daughter wrecked it.

I never use to have a big preference in vechiles.  My family has usually driven chevies, maybe a buick or two, and an occasional rice burner.  I stayed away from fords because usualy they were ugly looking in my opinon.  The only ones I didn't mind were the mustangs and broncos  Randy's mom is a die hard ford driver and tried getting after Randy for allowing me to buy a chevy.  She got her ass handed to her for a few different things over that one.  She wisely keeps her mouth shut over our vechiles now.

I swear every time Randy drives one of our vechiles with in a month they go down on us.  I think they know who the better driver is

Re: Fucked Over Rebuilt Dodge
uhhh...maybe tis the operator, not the machinery that 's the problem? lol I had the same kind of problem with my ex. I could drive a car forever with only regular upkeep needed, even if it had a problem, but let him in it and POW! another one bites the dust!
