Sadly there are a lot of conflicts of interest in the gaming industry, and Sony isn't the only one doing it. It has been stated that Microsoft has paid many of it's game producers to port bad copies of multiplatform games to the other platform's to increase microsoft sales. Nintendo is just as guilty with a full magazine that rates other than Nintendo Games (Nintendo Monthly)
Sadly, this is an industry to make money, and unless proven intent of slander it is free run. Think of all those cingular vs verizon commercials. Same thing.
