I watched it.
I thought it was very well prepared and
I think he is going to do a very good job
I didn't get to see it because I was in school.. but the kids that did see it in class, I think they were being very judgmental. I know that we're supposed to see the President as some big ol' guy who's top notch and everything, but when they were saying how he messed up, it just seemed really spiteful. =\ I'm sure it's really nerve racking up there... especially knowing you're going to have to take on a big task as being the president! My mind would be going a million miles an hour if I were to stand out there and say those words.
A lot of the kids in the art club think he was only elected because he is black...Maybe it's just me and being a minority, but when I look at a person, I rarely notice what skin colour they are.

I think it was actually very genuine and endearing when he stuttered on the first part of the oath. I know I would have done a lot worse if I were up there, so it's nice to know that he can make the same mistakes (even as simple as not paying attention to what needed to be repeated) as I.
At least we won't have a President making up his own words for at least these next 4 years.
I wish him the best and hope that he becomes everything we need right now.

FYI, it wasn't so much that he stuttered, but that Chief Justice John Roberts recited it incorrectly. He misplaced the word "faithfully", and that is what caused President Obama to pause - I think that actually shows just how much attention he was paying. However, when Chief Justice Roberts corrected himself and spoke the oath correctly, President Obama then recited the incorrect version. That can definitely be chalked up to nerves.

I woke up early to watch it from my warm bed. He looked really nervous. Almost as if he were expecting something.
