I think that it is unintentionally perpetuating the stereotype. Someone might want to fire this photography team or the photo editor for creating such a double-entendre of a photo. Really, there are so many shots that they could have used!
Go on, Gisele! You keep on wincing witcha bad self! =P

This photography team has helped to make this cover a collector's item. I doubt anyone's going to get fired over it...

I don't think anyone should be fired for it. There is a good chance that nobody on the team thought about negative attention. I mean people do alot of things everyday that could be construed as perpetuating a stereotype and not even realize it.
My sister and I saw this magazine cover a couple days ago. I just kind of thought it was funny how she's all smiley and he was all like "Raah!" I didn't think anymore of it.
Nothing racial, nothing stereotypical. Just two people on a magazine cover.
Christ are you shitting me? This is nothing unusual. This is a standard basketball pose. Players make angry faces and take aggressive stances when they play, and as a result when the pose.

I think the picture is great. I also think people are just getting a little ridiculous with the racial issues. Differentiating between black and white is getting the best of people. It's a good picture and his expression has nothing to do with the color of his skin.
