I think he had Jewish blood but tried to deny it.
But how could you think that, when he "HATED" Jews more than almost any other peoples... No, I don't think so Bonniegirl. Blood runs deep! (That is why I don't trust Oboma, with his ancestoral ties to the people that we are now at war with!)
I have heard it many times, but of course can not prove it. I think he was not full blooded Jew, but certainly had it in his bloodline. But then again; I may be wrong.
Yes, I think you 'are' wrong Bonnie. I also have heard 'many times' that "there was no "Hollocost!" That is about as 'equally' an outrageous a comment! It is just made up by 'The hate Mongers' out there, that would 'take Hitler's place' in a moment, if they could, so don't fall for such 'evil' rumors, just because several people 'pick up on it, and enjoy spreading it around.
And as far as having 'any' jewish blood... I can see no physical evidence of that in the many photos that I have seen of him. His nose is large enough, but it is not the 'Jewish Nose.' His hair is dark, but it is much to straight. Most Jewish people have either wavy or curly hair, and it goes from black to blonde. I don't want to 'insult' anyone, so I would not venture a guess!
Anyway, I heard from Ellen, and she and her family are doing fine! They had a terrible Cyclone over the Philippines, but fortunately they were on high ground, protected by surrounding mountains, that are probably set in deep rock, and not prone to mudslides!

Hitler was not German, he was Austrian.
Which is a whole differnt country. They just speak the same language.
which parts do you travel to??
i have spent many years in the Tirol reigion. the mountins are so beautiful and the people are so good natured that i find it an incredible place.
no doubt you have heared of the Eagles Nest. that was the place were Hitler used to spend his time. its well worth a visit as the golden elivartor is spectacular!
x
We traveled the length of Austria on a tour! We went to aproximately six more countries along with Austria, but I think it was the town just outside of The Black Forest that I remember most clearly... I am now in my 70th year, and we toured over thirty years ago, so I am afraid that the names of the towns will only come back to me when I hear them. I love the Austrian people too! They are the 'first' country to 'Give defenseless animals the 'Same legal rights as Children!"
The black forest, is that the place on the German border?? i think i remember it.
my family love to travel to Austria. we have visited, Soll, Myerhoffen, and the Hintertux glacier. sorry but they are all spelt phoneticaly, as i could not for the life of me spell them!
I can see that you were completely oblivious to the 'Animal Rights' commentary... I suggest that you just 'go and buy yourself a MAP!
He does not have the Austrian features, that are so very similar to the German features. That is why I believe that his real bloodline is from elsewhere... probably, HELL!
"According to 'most' sources, but not all!" Yes, I have seen quite a few Austrians with dark hair, and as you say, other nationalities with even more profound differences in appearance. About fifteen years ago I walked into an electronics store to buy a cd player, and a very handsome young black fellow walked up to me with the most shockingly electric blue eyes! I was pretty certain that they were not contacts!
Hitler may not have had the typical Germanic look, but that doesn't mean that his heritage is not documented correctly.
People of Anglo-Saxon, African, Asia, etc decent all have typical phenotypical characteristics, but that does not mean that genetically he is not of Austrian decent. People have lighter and darker skin tones, different hair colors and shaped features no matter where you come from. I've seen some naturally dark skin toned, dark eyed and haired Germans. Ode to genetic diversity. It has been proven that people who look opposite from one another can share more genetic commonalities than those that look similar to them.

Boo, somehow the reply that I just sent to you appeared 'above' your comment, rather than after it, as is usual?
Point taken. No one in the scientific community is every really in complete agreement with everyone else. I have a friend who is black and has phenotypically Asian eye shape, but he doesn't have any sort of heritage going back to that area of the world. I'm pretty pale myself but I do have Native American blood in me which would never be obvious unless I get out into the sun more and tan, but then with a tan, my curly brown hair and eyes I look more Hispanic than white.
Actually, from your picture, if I had to guess... you look quite 'French!' But as you say, one can not ever be to certain of anothers bloodline. You have posted an interesting blog, but I did not get a chance to read all of it... will try again.
I am English, Irish, German, and Russian from what my parents have told me. However, if I could have chosen what country and nationality I would be, I know that it would be Italian... and I'd have been born in, and grown up in Venice! Or Hawaiian, if I could have been born in, and grown up in Hawaii! How about you?
There 'is' so much to choose from! It is interesting that we would 'both' pick Italian! I 'Love' their personalities! They are warm, say what they mean, are lots of fun to be around, and really strong when they need to be! This is true of both the men and the women. Of course, this is just an overall impression! I am sure that there are exceptions, as with any nationality.
I also Love the Hindo, Buddist, and Indian peope! Especially the ones from India, as they are all 'Extremely Reverant' of 'All' of God's Creation! Not just 'their own species, as still to many countries are! The U.S. is making 'Great Strides' in this area! They are 'Evolving' steadily, but we are still a long way from the 'Goal' of becoming a 'Truly Humane' society! We need to get rid of the 'Horrible Exploitation' of animals in Laboratories, on Factory Farms, Fur Farms, Puppy Mills, and the list is unfortunately very long, even after these three that come to mind immediately!
