You have nothing to be sorry for and already changed your blog title to pacify them.  If you were a woman and she was a man, the "tear card" wouldn't have worked for her.  It's funny how people are bitches to people then get all shocked and shaken when people dislike them for it.  Dave, this is YOUR blog, the others just choose to read it, if they choose not to it's no skin off your back.  I admore how honest you are!  You said what dozens of us wanted to say...but wouldn't!

I wasn't a Btch to him. I never ever talked badly to him or about him prior.. I just didnt like his tone previously with me on a different post, so that is why I blocked him at that time, but as you can see, he is not blocked now.. maybe censored, yes..because it is my blog, and I do not wish to have language on there that is offensive as I mentioned in my reply to him on this post as well.

 

I am sorry you find me offensive and felt the need to block me some time ago. I dont recall EVER being offensive to you, rude or calling you out on anything...if I did offend you, I do apologize, because that was never my intent to personally offend or insult you in any way.

Want to know what's offensive and the true sign of a bitch? Telling something to someone you consider a cool person only to see it twised around on someone elses blog! But it doesn't matter, you can have your apology right back because it's not accepted.

At times I get the sense that some respondents to my posts see me as a slobbering, teeth-gnashing, grinning and mindless idiot. So be it. So be it. If that is the conclusion which they come to from their perspective; so be it. I take no glee from what I do or, indeed, feel I am sworn to do under oath.

 

Still, I have no intent, indeed I maintain my resolve to not back down [yes, I have backed off before] from my basic tenet that The Constitution of A United States part of  North America [AUSPONA] will be protected and defended against all enemies foreign and domestic.

 

As stated, I have backed off on some of my more strident rhetoric due to attacks here on MINDSAY. I have fallen into deep and prolonged depression at times and have fallen silent here because of the depression.

 

Encouragement from you and others is more than just appreciated, truly. Such encouragement is the nutrition I need to go on. And too, it is great and needed therapy for depression I oft succumb to due to doubts I allow to overwhelm me. I still abide by, nearly fifty years after swearing it, an oath to "protect and defend" The United States of America, when sworn in as an enlistee into four years of service in The United States Navy. I fully and honorably served my obligation[unlike George W. Bush who went AWOL in a time of war].

 

I abide by that sworn oath by raising the consciousness of ignorant citizens of the dangers and threats to us all by foolish, foppish, fascist, fear mongering, falsifying, fraudulent, uneducated, unpatriotic, unconstitutional, unilateral, dumb ass, dunderhead-ed, despotic, despicable, duplicitous, double-dealing, knee-jerk, knuckle-headed, know-nothing, egregious, redneck, racist, religiously-righteous, radical, retrograde, Republican, slobs, snakes, sons-of-bitches [FUDKERS] and their fudking policies, laws, rhetoric, intent and deeds.  Ya know?  Sincerely, David

you asked me if I was going to block you, I will not at this point, but I am asking you that when you do post comments on my blog, that you please tone it down a notch to not include swearing or cussing,even tho you say you didnt in the past, you did. By putting a "D" in the middle of the word, does NOT make it less offensive. I would appreciate that very much. If you decide you cannot, then just do not comment there at all, thank you.

What bothers me about you is that you use childish name-calling tactics and closed-mindedness. You offend because you go on the offensive against people personally. I won't respect your point of view if I don't respect you in the way you present your case. Using words like idiot, nuts, fascists and being challenged to find other adjectives other than the variation of a common obscenity you use does not bolster any point you have to make. I have not blocked you, even thought I find you unfair, juvenile and shallow. If you come to my blog with an offensive response in a personal manner, I will block you. If you come to disagree in a civil and substantiated way, then you may maintain access.  I will not censor a differing opinion unless it's delivered in concert with what I deem an insult along with it. Rise to a higher level of discourse and you may not get "raked over the coals" as much. Sorry if you don't like what I've said. I would not care if you blocked me. You needed to hear this, in my opinion. I feel I can accurately predict what your response will be.

I'm curious, Shiny, since you are an infrequent visitor and I rarely write overtly political posts, if you even know my affiliation, leanings, voting record or whose bumper sticker is on my car. I wonder if many (not necessarily you, because I can't truly say) have considered that it might just be that neither "side" can provide truly complete and proper answers with unfettered pursuit of the extreme versions of their POVS, but rather that they are both necessary parts of a function-striving whole and that, at different times and in different circumstances, an emphasis one way or the other is the workable approach for a time, but never exclusively. I object to the behaviors that resemble more the acts of ginned-up soccer fans than citizen-statesmen.

Valid point. I've observed your trend of comments on someone else's blog (no longer here at Mindsay) and have found a shared dislike for the current administration of your state (a state where I grew up and where I still follow politics). I, by no means, feel that you subscribe to a specific political affiliation; I've just surmised that you and I disagree on quite a few things.

And that's perfectly fine. To put it in your words -- I don't see your atcs resembling those of ginned up soccer fans.

Maryland is a good laboratory to show how one-party rule over a sustained time creates more problems than it solves. Unfortunately, I see no end in sight since, through the courts, the Democrat party has put cementing it's permanent majority above the voices of the many on the Eastern Shore, Southern and Western Maryland, where crawling deeper and deeper into being a government enclave is not the dominant viewpoint. Essentially, Montgomery, PG and Baltimore counties and the City ride roughshod over the entire state. Sadly, private enterprise is moving away and that, not slots, would be the engine to produce the kinds of sustainable revenues for a fiscally sound state budget. I'm voting NO on slots, btw. I see it as a "solution" that will bring far more contaminants than it will benefits.

Stand your ground and defend your position. Good on ya. I have not been four-square in adhering to my oath to "...protect and defend The Constitution of the United States of America". Here in Qingdao on the coast of China one of, indeed my most widely known and used Chinese name is "Ma Da Ha".  It, I believe, exceeds the "absent minded professor" connotation. It is closer to connoting "Stupid guy who forgets everything".

 

I will not, however, now block you. ctually I already tried but forgot how it is done].
