God's Artwork

The art the tree beholds,

the scene it’s bald limbs unfold,

such little sky between the leaves,

what plentiful colors do you see?

A blue expanse is the canvas,

a weaving of brown tips of tree,

a mix of green from the leaves,

a red bird or two to add emphasis.

The wind blows and shows excitement for

the revelation of it’s beauty,

the sway, the arch, the blend of feelings,

the pure and simple, and sometimes moody

nature. Turns a simple day

of natural duty into

the art work of God’s beauty.

I hope you like my poem.. I wrote it a few months ago...when the Spring had just began to show it's beauty. I was sitting in my car and bam... I felt the urge to write this. I had not, at the time, written any sort of poetry since high school.
