I highly doubt that it's the seasons that melt that much ice. Glaciers are not supposed to disappear due to seasonal changes.

I'm just suggeting that there might be other reasons .. whether you choose to believe them or not .. well .. whether I choose to believe them .. atleast they deserve to be considered
