That's the worst feeling, sending the kidlets to school when they maybe should stay home. I loved working out of the house for that reason, because it didn't affect my job even if my son was at home sick.
It's a horrible feeling. If I weren't subbing today, I'd stay home with her. If she's feeling poorly tomorrow, she's staying home with me.
To Whom It May Concern:
Please excuse Myclette from all adult responsibilities for the day, but still make sure to pay her all her wages and a little more.
She's suffering from Turtleitis Ineedakickinmyassmus, and since we don't know when she will fully cover from this disorder you should just keep this note on file for future use.
Thank you,

that's the best I can come up with since I just woke up, my tea hasn't kicked in yet, and my allergies are making me sneeze every other word
Oh I'm so sorry that Cocolette is not up to snuff today!
Poor dear. We are on spring break, here, so I think we're cleaning house. lol I mean, you know, when we've finished watching movies, of course.
I think working moms ought to get notes to excuse themselves on days when they are zombies!

Uh...yeah...Those DVDs need cleaning. You should put it in the player and let it spin around a bit.
I would have a note at least once a week.
