As usually I've waited until the last minute to study. I have a final on Thursday and another final on next Tuesday. I'm coming down the final stretch! I'll be so glad when this is over.

My boss asked me about teaching summer school. I could use the money, but I'm TIRED! She knows the crap I've been going through this semester, but she still "asked". You know when your boss "asks" you to do something, it means its not a request. She's gonna be pissed when I tell her that I will at least be out a week because we are going to Las Vegas to see Tristaprez's oldest daughter graduate. I already bought my plane ticket two months ago. I am also planning on recieving a visit from kingzjewel at the end of this month or the beginning of June. Since when did I cease being a human being? When did I become nothing more than a work horse, a pack mule or a drone? In any case, I decided this may be the time to break out my repertoire of old Negro spirituals to help me get through the remainder of the year:

If you have to teach summer school, how long does it last and will you still be having to do all your other stuff? What does your little lady do when you're at work?

Summer school lasts about a month, but it seems like forever when you are anxious to wrap up a school year. I will still be doing all of my other things, but I won't be going to school.

My little one usually goes to daycare or my mom's house during the summer when I have to work. She actually likes going to daycare in the summer when I don't have to work because she wants to play with other kids. Apparently I'm boring! LOL!

Don't worry. The school year will be over soon. My dad is a teacher and he is trying to hang on just until the end on the month. I think that my parents are going to start their summer break, by coming down to play on the river.

That sounds like the perfect way to start their summer break. Tell your dad I think it's great he's still "holding it down for the Gs" (hehe) Teaching ain't no punk!

are you contracted to teach summer school? if not, and you want the money, you work it around *your* schedule and feel no guilt. hayzus! did she ask you to save the world on top of that???????
