Can't I not vote for him because of both reasons?! =) As you can tell, I am a sucker for payback! =P
Sex scandals bore me. I mean if there was a scandal involving him molesting a child, then yeah -- that's something serious, but to make a big deal out of something 54% of men are doing or have done in the past? Puhleez.
Doesn't make it right. If a man can't be faithful to his wife first, don't you think he might be less than faithful in carrying out other duties as pertaining to country?
Honesty, loyalty, commitment and honor. An affair ruins each of those traits in a man.

If a man can't be faithful to his wife first, don't you think he might be less than faithful in carrying out other duties as pertaining to country?Whose definition of faithful are we using here? Is it having a long-term affair? Sexual intercourse? Some trysts and blowjobs? A drunken kiss at an office party? Phonesex? Watching pornography without one's spouse's knowledge? The point here is that the definition and the issue itself is really is not a matter for the rest of the world outside that relationship. And I don't think we should use it as a yardstick to measure competency in the White House.

Right on!
Bwahahahaha! You've got to be kidding me. What does one have to do with the other? Do you think every man who has run a tight ship or a had a successful business or have been a good president has been a good husband? Do you think every man who's been a good husband has been a successful leader? Leading your family is one thing. Leading your country is an entirely different ballgame. Whether or not McCain had an affair, this man had loyalty to this country even when he was in a POW camp.
I'd never say having an affair is okay or right, but I will say that equating a faithful husband with a good leader is simplistic. As far as we know George W. Bush is faithful to Laura Bush.
So what it comes down to is: Some great leaders can be horrible family people, and some great family people cen be terrible leaders =)
I guess it depends on who he is sticking it to Could it conflict with his duties? I still haven't looked into the details, because as far as I'm seen over my lifetime, we're the ones the Republicans are usually sticking it to.
If it was sexual abuse of a child that would be one thing but it might be a republican and a lobyist. Two people who are payed to screw things up screwing each other,
In math that is a double negative which makes a positive
No victims.
His being a republican is far more of a sin.
