I decided to post about lessons I've learned from people who made an impact on how I see the world and myself. For the most part these people are people who I see as "lessons and experiences". Most of them are people with whom I no longer have contact, but who made me see life in a different way.

I truly believe that most people I have met, whether they've been friends or enemies, were sent into my life for a reason. It may not seem like it at first, but hindsight is 20/20. After some time, if you are introspective enough, you'll find that they made little ripples in the ponds of your self awareness and your world view.

Hell, if you're real lucky, there will be some people who are like a tsunami in your life (without the destruction)!

But thruth be told, I made the biggest ripples in my life.

With some guidance yes, but it was me that did all the grunt work.

Oh I did all the work, but there is one thing I can say and that is I am great at observing and listening and most of all learning. I rarely make the same mistake twice.

I only recently came to terms with the fact that an ex impacted my life. No, not in a good way either, but for the longest time, out of pride, I refused to believe that he had anything to do with it. What good is denial though, Mycki? In fact, accepting this truth helped me overcome some obstacles in my life now. Whodathunk!

Hopefully you are in touch with the negative side of the Owl too =)

Yep, yep, yep. Josie and I often talk about our ex-friend Beth. She was a real bitch, but definitely got a lot of life lessons out of knowing her!
