January - Welcomed the New Year in with Torridgirl and Environgirl.  Began second semester of school and started the "class from hell". Parents decide to get divorced.

February - Worked and debated dropping "class from hell". Parents still making each other miserable in the same house. Stopped talking to father.

March - Beat a speeding ticket in court and immediately went to New Orleans with my my best mates, Environgirl and Tristaprez after my court date. :)  Celebrated 6th wedding anniversary. Made ammends with father. Parens still acting crazy, though.

April - Beat yet another speeding ticket. Made plans to attend Tristaprez's daughter's graduation in Las Vegas.

May - Mother disappears for over a week. Doesn't tell anyone where she is.  Managed to pass finals despite worrying about mother and having a rough year at work. Got a B+ in the "class from hell". Kingzjewel visited me and Texas for the first time. :) Friend drowned in a boating accident. :(

June -  Went to Las Vegas for the graduation. Spent a ton of money. When I returned home, found out the school where I worked was closing, therefore I was out of a job. Found out my very good friend died in a head on collision in Saudi Arabia. Met up with Olokun in Dallas while I went there for the funeral. She provided a very good reason for me to not attend my friend's wake.  I'm still grateful for that. Yay!

July - Stress starts to take a hold on my health. Blood pressure was higher than normal. Decided to start taking 5-HTP for depression and anxiety. Josiejunk came to visit!

August - Evil assed school decides to drop demigoddess from enrollment because they were too "full". However, I suspect it had something to do with my mother no longer working there.  I get the call from the school about my kiddo not being able to attend the day before school starts! My daughter had been so excited about school that she was doing a countdown on her calendar. I had to tell her she couldn't go back to her school and she was HEARTBROKEN! I could have beaten the hell out of every administrator in that building. I was literaly shaking with fury when I went up to that school and the principal looked like she was about to jump out of her skin.  My sister helped me enroll the demigoddess in the private school where she and my mother work.  I started subbing there, too.

My kiddo makes the best of every situation. :)

September - I start settling down very nicely into the role of part-time student / stay-at-home mom. Got into huge fight with mom. Realized I was going to totally kick ass in my Neuropsych class! Started to pick up more hours from my two subbing positions. Found out I'd be better off getting a second bachelors degree instead of going post bac in order to ensure that I get into the grad school of my choice.  Reconized that my bad luck streak seemed to be fading. *knock on wood*

October - Enjoyed Renfest with friends from Arizona, Torridgirl, Environgirl and Callmeroger.  Hung out with Justjames andJustJayme for the first time! :D Officially became sociology major. I only need 30 hours to get my degree.

November - Turned 35 and was pleasantly surprised that some people think I still look twenty something! Woohoo! Found out I got an A on my final for Neuropsych! Spent Thanksgiving with Environgirl and her mother, Torridgirl and Mamajo (Torridgirl's mother), The husband and the kiddo.

December - Started talking to mother again. Attended sister's graduation and Christmas party.  Attended yet another free concert with Environgirl and Torridgirl.  Got a 4.0 for the sememster!!! Had a great Christmas! Parents are still not divorced. Will be celebrating my three-year Mindsay blogaversary tomorrow!
