I doubt it, but those people who are talking about you seem to have a lot of time on their hands. They need something to keep them busy.

lol, maybe they should spend time trying to write a blog that is truly top blog worthy!  I just felt it was stupid to whine about top blogs about a pair of preemies being born *seems pretty immature to me* but then it got all twisted and blown way out of proportion.  I just don't know hon, I am having a hard time dealing with the intense nastiness of late.  Someone actually told me that if the new Mom were to be upset about their blogging about the number of baby blogs it would be my fault because I blogged about it.  IDK.......just am feeling very, um, depressed about the state of this website lately.  Seems like being kind and considerate is not the way people like to be anymore, and I don't know if I can survive in a world that thrives on such nasty behavior.

That jackass is being a hypocrite. He had a sarcastic post in response to the post about the twins that made top blogs.  He's just smelling his own drawers. 

Hey there, I am totally with you! Why were people complaining about that? It seems not only immature but really selfish. I mean, be happy for someone else, for crying out loud. How difficult is that to do? And to be perfectly honest, how often is this person, the mother, a subject of Top Blogs?

=) Sorry, just I am completely feeling you on the website atmosphere as of late, and it is currently plaguing that whole forum, so I hardly post there due to an obnoxious group of a few members. Really, people, what happened to a nice, profound sense of mutual respect?

By the way, I am going to vote for this entry too. I dunno if my reasons for doing so are exactly right, but then, voting for entries that disrespect the birth of two innocent babies..? How right is that now?

Thanks Andreux!  I find it so sad that people have nothing better to do.  I was one of the "original" multiple bloggers from that night, along with my friend's best friend.....we know her, lots of people know her history, so they know and understand why it's especially a big deal.  besides, the birth of two innocent babies is so much better than most of what you read on here!  i've gone strictly friends only, and i had to copy your basic idea of the one public post you have out there for people.  this is supposed to be a networking site, and it's gone to a dark and ugly place when people have to screen replies, censor themselves, or go out of their way not to interact with new people.  Anyway, I want to thank you for your support, on behalf of my friends.

it's especially a big deal and I am pissed I missed the post about the babies!  Congrats to you, her friends,  her--for having friends like you who have a great supportive reaction with her!  Don't give weight to those few, when there are many who understand.  If I were a mindsayer at 16 -29, I'd probably be wondering what the hell the big deal is.  But, I am not.  Therefore, I am celbrating with you!

Right, which is why its not a big deal. Something I percieve as really dumb may be something that cheered you up or something you needed to hear that day.  If you vote for it, why should I care? I've seen plenty of posts I deemed racist or offensive that were voted for.  End the end so what?

you know, the ones that whine the loudest about what gets voted for are the ones that don't seem to be writing things of much substance........did ya ever notice that?  I noticed that Pimpmunk asked specifically not to be voted for since  he's sick of the b.s. and wouldn't ya know it, he's got 2 votes, which means he either has someone on his list who is not such a friend, or the ones who whine the most about his blogs are voting just to keep the whine going.  Sad really, sad, pathetic, and immature.

I apologize for being totally self-serving in my motivation for jumping in here. I am trying to make a point and draw attention to my recent posting topic which I think is much more relevant overall to the mindsay community than mere "top-blog".
