I jumped from 6th grade to 9th grade. Maybe thats why I have so much trouble in math. I just avoided it and took "consumer math" which was a joke. 

I am the worst math student known to Man. I kid you not! My father is an electrical engineer and he would literally bang his head on the table when he was trying to help me with my math homework.

I cannot do any of those problems at all!!!    I suck at math far worse than you since you obviously got through college and are a teacher.  I took algebra/pre algebra 3 times in HS and failed each time.  I hate math.

I managed to pass Algebra I, but after that, I failed every second semester of math in HS. I had to go to summer school for the second semester of geometry.  I'll never forget how my average went from a B first semester to an F the second semester. The reason why I did so well the first semester was because we focused mainly on proofs. When the formula's came in, my ass was toast. I also failed the second half of Algebra II. I don't know how I still managed to graduate in the first quarter. I was just pathetic. We aren't going to even talk about how one-sided my SAT score was.

HA HA HA!!  I didn't even TRY to take the SAT.  I was so bitter and burnt out on school I had no hopes of college.  I would do OK at the first sem mark, but gods help me on the 2nd.  I could never remember the shit we were supposed to remember from the first sem. and use on the 2nd.  All those steps just got forgotten along the way.  I guess that means I never truly learned what the hell I was supposed to do.  There was no nope of me getting a clue about geometry, much less anything higher.

NO!  NO!  horrible flashbacks...the x's are running after me and I'm running toward the Y's but they are running away from me then the imaginary numbers come out of nowhere and trip me and I fall onto the Pythagorean Theorem....Oh, the humanity.......:-0!
