I presume this is about the Rev?  Very nice!  I think we have come quite a way; if people would stop judging by color instead of on personal merit.

I think he would be very disappointed in us; I think we are not what he had hoped for, and i do not see anyone out there that can fill his shoes.

How far have we come?  We have come so far that many people, instead of hating each other for the color of their skin, have to find other reasons to hate each other.

this is exactly why i love haiku.  so much information in such a simple form.  it's all pared and bared down to the essentials.  ((((((myckie)))))))))  very poignant, sweetie.  bless eg for coming up with this...i'm really enjoying reading other people's poems.   so much creativity in our lil bubble.  me, on the otherhand....my muse is apparently a slut, just one night stands, here and there.  mostly there; i think she moonlights.  *coughs & grins*
