Kingzjewel got her Indian name back in October. It's very pretty and for some reason I always saw her that way.  However, if I were to ever get an Indian name, I'm pretty sure it would be Angry Owl! Man, this pacifist crap is hard! How do you people do this? The husband is quite the pacifist. Damned artist. He often says he doesn't understand my "fightiness". ("Fightiness" was a term first coined by Environgirl to describe my choleric disposition.) I told him "Look at it this way, you and a I are like Greece and Sparta. I'm Sparta damn it!"  He thought it was a very funny way of describing us, but he agreed it was apropos.

God help me because next month there will be at least a dozen posts that will piss me off.  I will probably be asking the doctor for a prescription of Valium.

I'm not a very good pacifist either, especially at certain times of the month.  Then I'm just spoiling for an argument...

I am thinking that maybe I need to take half of your angry owl syndrome and you need to take half of my head buried in the sand - I'm too nice fluffy bunny syndrome and then maybe we'd both be really balanced...??

Hey kiddo, how ya been?? You know what, I tend to think that violent outbursts is how I excercize pacifism. Let me explain: See, when I truly try to be a pacifist, letting things go any whatnot, things start to pile up in my head and I damn near go on a killing spree because of it. So, I feel if I react as soon as something happens, it will be easier for that person in the long run. Did that make sense??..lol

It makes perfect sense.  Let off steam now, so you won't obliterate everyone in your way later.  Gotcha!

I've been fine. I've missed you, though.

After reading Egirl's blog, I finally get it.  I was going to respond and ask the significance of next month.  Then I put 2 and 2 together and got 5.    Please feel free to read the mini novel I left on her blog.  Let's just say that I understand as much as a "white person" can understand.  It's sad and pathetic, and I'm curious about who here has posted such disgusting things.  In this case, m'dear, I think it's alright to lose your cool.  This is something personal, not a petty argument.  Therefore, I make a motion to add an amendment to your NYE resolution.  Standing up for yourself and what you believe in is NOT a bad thing.  Pick and choose your battles, but if you're standing up for yourself, who you are, what you believe, what you respect, by all means, speak your mind!!
