I like your blog - very intriguing. I love these little questionaires, but I never put them on my blog. I have several offline friends who have followed me to Mindsay, so they already know all of those things. I have to smile at the profession that you would not like to do, as I have a social work degree and work in the field of addictions. I am a counselor. Before that, I used to do home health care with hospice patients. Hmmm...maybe I should consider a different job.
I recently decided that the profession I would never want to have is a florist. The husband of a friend passed away two weeks ago, and I wanted to order flowers for the funeral. I am not flower literate, and in fact have never honestly bought flowers in my life. So to do this over the phone, while I am crying, and have no clue what I want besides something beautiful and special that my friend will like, and not carring how much it is going to cost me...well all I can say is that poor florist. She probably was frazzled by the time she got off of the phone with me. I should also add that I was at work when all of this was happening, and I was crying, and had patients drifting in and out of my office. Yes...poor florist lady!
Wow! You go girl. I have a BA in psychology, but I teach children with learning disabilities and special needs. I don't know how you managed to do hospice care without having to see a psychiatrist. Don't worry about the poor florist, I'm sure she gets that all the time. LOL. I have a friend who is a mortician. Now there's a profession for you. We have a running joke -- I'd ask "how's business?" if he replied "business is going well." I'd answer, "That's too bad."
